NORWAY in September 2006
Ronny and I are back in Norway so he and I can catch up with his friends and family as well as organize a proper immigration status for his move to the U.S. Norway is always nice and while we were in Oslo we stayed with Ronny's good friend, Runa, who let us take over his apartment and two beautiful cats. During the week, we ran around to various doctor appointments for Ronny's immigration. But on Friday, we had a beautiful sight seeing day and Saturday we went to a Johnassi concert. After our week in Oslo, we are now back in Trondheim or Rissa. The pics from both this trip to Norway and our 3 month stay in the winter are posted below.

The Scream painting by Norwegian painter, Edward Munch.
This painting along with his famous Madonna painting were stolen and missing for years before being recently recovered. Both paintings were damaged and were on display at the Munch Museum in Oslo for only one week before going down for a year of surgery.

Oslo has a castle, although it doesn't look like a typical castle.
It is used by the Norske Royal Family for State Dinners and regularly the King meets with the current government so he can be informed of the Country's situation. On Norway's constitution day, the Royal family waves to the public from the porch.
